Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) will recruit nationals for career opportunities at the sixth annual Qatar Career Fair from April 1 to 6 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. ‘Write the Next Chapter in Qatar’s Success’ is being held under the patronage of the Heir Apparent, H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. As one of QF’s most successful initiatives, the fair is expected to feature over 140 public and private establishments, which will offer extensive training and recruitment opportunities to Qataris to hone their skills and help them achieve Qatar’s development goals. In keeping with the country’s commitment to provide capable Qataris with the best career prospects, the Human Resources Directorate at QF will be looking to employ candidates in various fields, including information technology, engineering, media and finance. Employment will be open to nationals with varying experiences, from entry-level graduates to more qualified professionals. Younger applicants are encouraged to apply for internships and entry-level positions to develop necessary expertise for the jobs market. “At QF, there are many areas of specialisation on offer for job seekers to explore and pursue. Employment at QF guarantees young Qataris a secure future and valuable work experience, while helping them make important contribution to building their country’s future,” said Hassan Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the directorate. During the six-day fair, visitors will be given a chance to meet QF personnel. Representatives from the education, science and community development divisions will be available to answer queries. Applicants will also be encouraged to meet other Qatari employees, who will be present at the QF booth, to learn about their professional experiences and seek their guidance. The number of visitors expected this year is likely to exceed 40,000. The fair is sponsored by Qatar Foundation, the Amiri Diwan, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar University and the Ministry of Labour. http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/qatar/230922-qatar-foundation-seeks-recruitment-at-career-fair.html
