Qatar Football Association announced on 10 January 2023 that the Vice President and AFC Vice President for West Asia, Saoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Mohannadi passed away.

H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani took to Twitter to appreciate the services of Saoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Mohannadi towards Qatar and offered his condolences to his family.

Saoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Mohannadi was also Vice President of the Union of Arab Football Associations Council, and he was an elected member of the FIFA Council.
