Qatar-Finland School's grade 7 and 8 students have been hard at work this Ramadan, creating their own school-based charity. Students have been working in different departments to develop a charity from scratch during the holy month of Ramadan. Through the project, students have learned a wide range of practical skills that will help them in their future careers. Students have taken on the roles of designers, finance officers, marketing gurus, designers and musicians.
As a conclusion to the project, from Sunday 10th to Wednesday 13th June, we will have an exhibition about the science of fasting and the religious and cultural experience of Ramadan in different countries. We will also be holding a sale a toy and clothes sale with many bargains to be had! The money that we raise will go to a number of good causes supported by our Parent's association.
We invite the generous public of Doha to donate any clean clothing items, toys and canned foods. We warmly welcome your attendance at our inaugural event.
