The Qatar Meteorology Department announced via tweet on 17 January 2023 that there will be a significant decrease in Qatar's temperature starting from Wednesday, 18 January 2023.

يطرأ انخفاض ملحوظ في درجات الحرارة من يوم غد الأربعاء 18/1/2023وحتى يوم السبت 21/1/2023، ذلك بسبب تأثير الرياح الشمالية الغربية على البلاد، حيث من المتوقع أن تتراوح العظمى مابين ١٨-٢١ ْم نهاراً والصغرى ١٢-١٦ ْم ليلاً على مختلف المناطق و أقل من ذلك على المناطق الجنوبية والخارجية pic.twitter.com/sKZM8TWZDp

The colder temperature is expected to continue until Saturday, 21 January 2023, caused by the Northwest winds in the country.

Temperatures of 18-21 degrees celsius are expected to be the maximum during the daytime and lows of 12-16 degrees celsius during the night.

Southern and outer regions of Qatar may experience even lower temperatures.
