The Qatar Embassy in Tunisia has announced in a tweet that the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tunisia denies what was reported by the media that the victim in the Bizerte incident holds Qatari citizenship.

The embassy has also expressed its condolences to the victim's family and relatives. According to Al Sharq, the Tunisian judicial authorities on Thursday, 11 August, began investigating a murder that shook the northern Tunisian city of Bizerte.
