The Qatari campaign for the relief of the Syrian people delivered 10 state-of-the-art ambulances to local councils and medical centres operating in the area of East Gouta in rural Damascus as part of Qatar’s continued support to the Syrian people. The deliveries of ambulances took place on a Syrian territory near Bab Al Hawa crossing between Syria and Turkey and were handed over to representatives of the councils and medical centres in areas which are not controlled by the Syrian regime. The Qatari campaign to help the Syrians had imported these state-of the-art vehicles which are equipped with all needs in first aid. The relief aid included food and humanitarian aid and medical assistance, and baby milk and medicine. The delivery of medical and humanitarian assistance aimed at meeting the urgent needs of the people living in areas where the health sector is affected due to attacks by the Syrian regime. The attacks caused disruption of delivering the medical needs, particularly the requirements of urgent aid. Source:Qatar Chronicle
