Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani arrived in Spain yesterday. He will attend the opening of the Qatar Day being organised by the World Water Expo 2008 organisers today. The ceremony will be held at the Plaza Hall for International Conferences, where Qatar’s flag will be hoisted and the national anthem will be performed to announce the state’s official participation in the expo. The participating delegations will tour the Qatar pavilion. A dinner reception will be hosted by the organisers. The function will be attended by senior Spanish officials as well as the commissioner general of the Expo Emilio Fernandez Castano. GT
