The Maritime Customs Department at the Ras Laffan Port Customs Department has announced on 1 July 2021 on Twitter that it has foiled the smuggling of 9600 capsules of prohibited pills. The contraband was hidden inside a passenger's luggage, and upon arrival at the customs yard, the bag was searched and the seizures were found.
