The Air Cargo and Private Airports Customs of Qatar thwarted the smuggling of prohibited tobacco material or 'tambaku', also known as chewing tobacco. It was revealed in a Tweet by Qatar Customs that about 1500 kilograms of the prohibited substance was hidden in hair care products.

The authority has lately been issuing continuous warnings against bringing prohibited substances into the State of Qatar.
