Qatar Customs tweeted on 9 May 2023 that a smuggling attempt at the Abu Samra border had been thwarted.
تمكنت إدارة الجمارك البرية (منفذ أبوسمرة الحدودي) من ضبط تهريب مادة الحشيش وحبوب اللاريكا المخدرة مخبأة بطريقة سرية داخل أحد المركبات القادمة إلى الدولة وبلغ وزن مادة الحشيش 12.30 جرام ، وعدد 41 كبسولة من عقار اللاريكا المخدرة ... pic.twitter.com/RjfoXv99ZT

The violators had been attempting to smuggle 12.30 g of hashish, 41 Lyrica pills and 3 other narcotic pills which were hidden inside the car.
The narcotic substances have been seized and given to the competent authorities.
