Qatar Customs announced on Twitter today, 1 August 2022, the successful seizure of attempted smuggling of illegal narcotic pills at Hamad International Airport.

The total number of pills seized was 2,716 and was found hidden inside a passenger's bag. The seized items and the violator were handed over to the competent authorities.
