Qatar Customs announced in a tweet on 19 January 2023 that the customs at Hamad International Airport prevented the smuggling of prohibited substances that was discretely hidden in the guts of a traveller.
أحبطت إدارة جمارك مطار حمد الدولي تهريب مواد محظورة داخل أحشاء مسافر ، بعد عرضة على جهاز فحص الأحشاء و تحويلة إلى أحدى المستشفيات ، وقد بلغ وزن المادة المضبوطة 1.1201 كيلو جرام ، وعليه تم تحرير محضر ضبط وتسليم المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة بالدولة#جمارك_قطر pic.twitter.com/sEDS4Tj8yn

The traveller was transferred to the hospital and the substance found was methamphetamine which weighed a total of 1.1201 kgs.
