Qatar Customs tweeted on 25 May 2023 that the customs administration at Hamad International Airport thwarted a smuggling attempt of marijuana that weighed 10.466 kilograms.
أحبطت إدارة جمارك مطار حمد الدولي تهريب مادة المارجوانا المخدرة، وذلك بعد اشتباه المفتش الجمركي بحقيبة أحد المسافرين، وعند فتح الحقيبة تم العثور على ثلاث حزم مغلفة بشكل سري، وقد بلغ الوزن الإجمالي للمواد المضبوطة 10.466 كيلو جرام تقريباً.#جمارك_قطر pic.twitter.com/US4OkgXNwx

A bag carried by a passenger was suspected by a customs officer who inspected the bag and found 3 packages of the substance discretely wrapped.
