Qatar Customs announced on 16 April 2023 the Hamad International Airport customs have prevented the smuggling of multiple narcotic substances.
The narcotic substances seized from the suspected passenger included 10 pills of narcotic marijuana, which was mixed in a packet of chewing gum, along with 6 smoking heads of marijuana weighing 189.40 g, 4 electronic cigarettes stuffed with marijuana, 93 narcotic pills and 60 liquid capsules of narcotic pills.
The passenger was searched based on suspicion by one of the customs inspectors, who found the substances hidden in two bags.
