In a tweet, Qatar Customs announced that the Hamad International Airport customs has foiled the smuggling of prohibited tobacco.

أحبطت إدارة جمارك مطار حمد الدولي محاولة تهريب مادة التنباك الممنوعة وذلك أثر اشتباه مفتش الجمارك لحقيبة المسافر ، وجاءت تفاصيل الضبطية عند قيام المفتش الجمركي بتفتيش الحقيبة وتبين تهريب تنباك بوزن 26.95 كيلو جرام تقريباً #جمارك_قطر#كافح pic.twitter.com/0nnUxIXktG

As per the announcement, a customs inspector inspected a passenger’s bag upon suspicion and found 26.95 kg of tobacco inside the bag.
