In a tweet, the Qatar Customs has said that the Customs Department of Hamad International Airport thwarted an attempt to smuggle shabu.

As per Qatar Customs, the inspector has inspected the passenger's bag and found 4.70 kg of shabo. When the seizing operation has been completed, the legal procedures and seizure report have been made and the materials given to the competent authorities.

Qatar Customs mentions that it is worth noting that the Customs Department of Hamad International Airport has seized many attempts to smuggle prohibited materials , which varied in ways of concealment, and customs inspectors stand a lookout for them due to their efficiency and experience, which facilitated the task of controlling once they were suspected until they reached the inspection area. This is in order to prevent the entry of this scourge and other prohibited items into the State of Qatar .
