Cargo and Private Airports Customs in the Express Mail Customs thwarted the smuggling of a quantity of cannabis (narcotic hashish) as announced by the General Authority of Customs in its Twitter account. The contraband was hidden in a food shipment. The weight of the seized substance was 522 grams.

Last Friday, 24 June 2021, the maritime customs foiled an attempt to smuggle prohibited tobacco in Hamad port customs, where the container was suspected through the inspection, and when the inspectors opened the container which contained mango, they found 2878 kg of prohibited tobacco hidden in a secret way in mango boxes, the seizures were delivered to the competent authorities in the country.

The discovery of these seizures is the result of the inspectors' remarkable efforts, the existence of high-level screening devices, the inspector's insight, and their efficiency in suspecting the seizure of prohibited narcotic substances.
