The maritime customs at the Hamad Port successfully stopped the smuggling of 4,423 parcels of forbidden tobacco into Qatar. The contraband was hidden inside a shipment of hand brooms, and the total weight of the prohibited substance reached 5528.75 kilograms, according to Qatar Customs Tweet:

It is worth noting that the General Authority of Customs is proceeding at a steady pace to develop and simplify customs procedures and apply the latest systems in accordance with the best international standards and practices in customs work, in addition to extending bridges of trust and cooperation with its partners and the public of those dealing with it.
