Qatar csr summit kicks off 16 may 2023 qatar university

Qatar University revealed today the details of the upcoming “Qatar CSR Summit” set to be held Under the Patronage of H.E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar at the Students Affairs Building (I11) in Qatar University from 16 to 18 May.

During a press conference held at the College of Business and Economics in Qatar University, Dr. Rana Sobh, Dean of College, and Chairman of the steering committee of the conference said:

“We have made sure that this event acts as an accelerator for the university’s goals in pushing forward a sustainable business model in Qatar.”

The event enjoys the vast support of dozens of public and private entities, including Ministry of Social Development and Family, the Strategic Partner, Ministry of Defense, the Official Partner, Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs, and Commerce and Industry, the Governmental Partners, QNB, the Official Bank, Ooredoo, the Exclusive Telecommunications Partner, Qatar Chamber, the Business Community Partner, Dallah Holding, the Production Partner, Civil Aviation Authority, Al Faisal Holding and Aamal, the Silver Sponsors, Qatar Tourism, Qatar Cool, QIIB, McDonald’s, FMM, Carrefour, Sasol, the Bronze Sponsors, Seashore Group, the Recycle 4 Good Sponsor, Rayyan, the Water Sponsor, Talabat, the Technology 4 Good Sponsor, and UDC.

On the other hand, the Qatar CSR Awards aims at recognizing the achievements contributing to the development of CSR and sustainability in Qatar. In this regard, Haidar Mshaimesh, General Manager of IFP Qatar announced that this year’s edition of the program will be concluded with the Awards Gala Dinner that will be held in the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel on Thursday the 18th of May.
