The State of Qatar strongly condemned Friday the Israeli occupation's demolition of houses belonging to Palestinians in the occupied territories, saying it was an illegal act that aims to displace Palestinians and destroy their land in severe violation to international agreements.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed, in a statement today, the importance of having the international community move swiftly to protect the Palestinian people from the dangers of forced and mass displacement, and hold the occupation accountable for these severe violations.
The statement renewed the State of Qatar's firm position of supporting the just Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people in establishing an independent state based on the borders of 1967 with East Al Quds as its capital.
