Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced in a tweet that the bank will be increasing its interest rates for deposits, lending, and repurchases as follows:

• Raise the QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) by 75 basis points to 3.75%.
• Raise the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) by 75 basis points to 4.50%.
  
• Raise the QCB Repurchase Rate (QCB Repo Rate) by 75 points to 4%.

This increase is made taking into account the evolving domestic and international macroeconomic developments in Qatar. The increase will be effective by 22 September 2022.
