The Qatar Central Bank has announced in a tweet that Sunday, 5 March 2023, is an official holiday for all financial institutions in the State of Qatar.

This is in accordance with the Cabinet Decision no. 33 of 2009 which declares the first Sunday in March as an official holiday for all financial institutions.
Financial institutions are to resume operations on Monday, 6 March 2023.
