Qatar-Based Leader in Entertainment Production, Wins Best Entertainment Production at the Middle East Event Awards 2016

Jumpzone, a Qatar-based internationally acclaimed world leader in entertainment production, was awarded the Best Entertainment Production at the recent Middle East Event Awards 2016 held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Madinat Jumeirah Ballroom, Dubai.

Jumpzone was recognised for creating, directing, managing and producing the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016 Closing Ceremony, which incorporated 27 artists from around the world, blending 3D projection mapping on a dress worn by Broadway superstar, Lana Godron, LED tennis dancers, mirror tennis artists, projection drummers, unique power fire artists, special effects, and a lasers and amazing lights shows.

Jumpzone walked away with the prestigious award, beating out the largest field of entrants in the history of the Middle East Event Awards and the region’s best, with the shortlist of nominees including: Summit On The Global Agenda Gala Dinner, UAE 44th National Day Celebration, Looney Tunes Summer Campaign, Fountain Of Life Holographic Fashion Show, Robbie Williams Concert as well as Disney On Ice in Dubai.

As a leading entertainment production company, Jumpzone has built a reputation for organising impressive and revered events, including a stunt which saw Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer playing tennis on a magic carpet at Souq Waqif in 2010, as well as Nadal and Federer playing tennis on a floating tennis court in 2011 in Doha, Qatar. These remain as some of the most iconic images in world tennis and with the floating tennis court recently recognised as the Top 3 Most Iconic Sporting Moments for Eurosport some five years after the event.

Jumpzone is recognised and applauded for its entertainment productions, show creation, media productions and events. Over the years, Jumpzone has created a number of attention-grabbing entertainment productions, show creations, media productions, events in Qatar including: the inauguration of Qatar Cool’s Integrated District Cooling Plant which was the first time that 3D mapping was used in the Middle East, Aspire Academy’s Opening Musical and the one which saw Nadal and Federer played a friendly tennis match on a magic carpet at Souq Waqif in 2010.
