Qatari newspapers highlighted Monday H.H. the Amir's Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's visit to the sisterly State of Kuwait yesterday where he met with H.H. the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The papers underlined the importance of this visit and the depth of the Qatari-Kuwaiti relations which are based on historical partnership, fraternal relations and a common destiny, noting the keenness of the leaders of both countries and their wisdom to elevate these relations to the highest level of harmony for the benefit of the two peoples.

In its editorial today, Al-Raya said that H.H.'s visits to Kuwait and his meetings with his brother H.H. Sheikh Sabah reflect the unique relationship of brotherhood between the two countries as a role model for bilateral relations between brothers in the Gulf and Arab regions.

For its part, Al-Sharq newspaper said that thanks to the patronage and wisdom of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and H.H. the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Qatar and Kuwait's relations continue to serve as a prime example of what relations between two countries should be, as the two friendly countries share a history of genuine and deep ties with each other.

The newspaper said that during the Gulf crisis, H.H. the Amir of Kuwait positively intervened by launching a mediation to contain the crisis and to save the GCC march, stressing that it was an important step in the course of relations and positively reflected H.H. the Amir of Kuwait's wisdom and keenness to preserve the Gulf.

This relationship, the paper said, is deep-rooted and is reinforced by the wisdom and insightful vision of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his brother H.H. the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The paper said that the visit comes in the midst of important and crucial events in the region, which requires consultation and exchange of opinion among the leaders of the region, noting that Qatar always emphasizes that dialogue is the only way to reach solutions that meet the interests of peoples, stressing that this is a vision shared by the sisterly State of Kuwait.

This relationship, the paper said, has become stronger during the Gulf crisis, due to the honorable Arab positions and the efforts exerted by H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to resolve the crisis and return the cohesion to the Gulf House.

History will remember the Amir of Arab diplomacy H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who places the supreme interest of the Gulf, Arab and Islamic House at the forefront of his concerns out of his belief that the region can never tolerate any side battles, in the midst of dangers surrounding it, Al-Arab pointed.

H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's directive to HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani in late February to launch Sabah Al Ahmed Corridor does not stems from a vacuum, but it is an expression of love, gratitude and appreciation to one of the most important Arab men, who has honorable positions towards his homeland, his Arab brothers and his Muslim nation throughout the world, Al-Arab concluded.
