H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will participate on Monday, 1 November 2021, in the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26).
The summit will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, the United Kingdom, with the participation of a number of Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies Heads of State and Government.
H.H. the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
The latest round of global climate talks takes place from 31 October to 12 November 2021. The world will be watching and demanding that national leaders rise to the moment, given the mounting climate crisis and far-reaching consequences for a livable future. Science confirms we have reached a “code red” for our world.
