Qatar Airways announced on Monday that it is about to launch savings on flights to more than 100 destinations around the world.
It said its latest three-day global sale would start at midnight September 3-4 (local time in each market) and end at 23:59pm on September 6 (local time in each market).
It did not specify discounts but added in a statement that passengers would be offered flights across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas "at very attractive fares".
The travel window is over a six-month period between September 10 and March 13 next year. Seats are limited and subject to availability, the airline said.
Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said: “The global sale is our way of thanking our loyal passengers for their continued support, and provides the opportunity to welcome new travellers and give them a great travel experience onboard the world’s best airline.”
Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth and currently flies a fleet of 111 aircraft to 118 key business and leisure destinations.
Since the beginning of 2012, Qatar Airways has launched flights to Baku (Azerbaijan); Tbilisi (Georgia); Kigali (Rwanda); Zagreb (Croatia), Erbil (Iraq), Baghdad (Iraq), Perth (Australia) and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania).
Over the next few months, it will launch services to Yangon, Myanmar (October 3); Maputo, Mozambique (October 31); Belgrade, Serbia (November 20); Warsaw, Poland (December 5) and Chicago, USA (April 2013).
