A Bangkok-bound Qatar Airways flight was diverted to Mumbai early yesterday after a passenger misbehaved on board, an airport official here said. The passenger, identified as Fahad Mohammed Dulal, a 34-year-old Kuwait national, was drunk and was getting violent with other passengers, the official said, requesting anonymity. The pilot of the flight QR-612 decided to land the Airbus A-330-300 aircraft at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), Mumbai, so that Dulal could be offloaded. 典he plane landed here at around 2.38am and was parked at Bay 65 of the airport,・said the airport official.
