Ashghal's national day celebration this year, aimed to demonstrate the significance of loyalty to our beloved country, and to reflect Ashghal’s beliefs in the importance of preserving Qatar's heritage treasures, upholding the inherited customs, and transmitting them to future generations.

The heritage village set up across the authority's headquarters in West Bay, welcomed visitors including employees and consultants and included a number of activities such as a “Classical Cars Roadshow”, where employees and consultants participated showcasing their cars. The celebrations also comprised "National Folklore" activities like "Al Muradah" show presented by Nasiba Bin Kaab Independent School and "Al Arda Al Qatariyya" in addition to poetry passages and heritage inspired contests.

Ashghal, through celebrating the National Day, aims to shed light on the Heritage handed down by to us from our grandparents. The celebrations also aim to highlight our authentic and rich customs which constitute a true legacy and the link between the present and the past, ones that we must preserve for future generations so as to continue side by side with the State of Qatar and what it has achieved in the education, urban, and economic fields.
