Prime Minister and Interior Minister HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani inaugurated the Sustainable Strategic Plan and its sectors for the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (2018-2022) during a ceremony held at the Doha Sheraton Hotel on Sunday morning, reported QNA.

The inauguration ceremony began with a short film about the Sustainable Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment for the next five years (2018-2022) and its most important sectors in the areas of urban planning, agriculture, fisheries, environment, municipalities and public and joint services.

The objectives of the strategy focus on the performance of the different sectors of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to serve the homeland, the citizen and the institution in accordance with a strategic planning and government work, in the context of specific development objectives and capacity building at all levels.

Public service delivery app Aoun

The ceremony started with launching the "Aoun" application on smartphones as one of the most important smart applications to employ technology in providing services to the public in addition to many new electronic services.
