The Porsche Panamera, the brand’s four-seater sports car for everyday, is expanding further with the introduction of the second generation at Porsche Centre Doha, Al Boraq Automobiles Company. Unprecedented ten derivatives are now available, with three debut models joining a redeveloped line-up. Porsche is offering even sportier dynamics and greater efficiency with the new Panamera. It gives more comfort and a sharper design for the ultimate driving pleasure. Increased fuel efficiency is one of the most marked upgrades to the new generation. Expected fuel savings is up to 56%. Newly developed tyres, lighter 18-inch wheels and a specifically tuned Porsche Stability Management (PSM) add to its sportiness and comfort. Part of the unrivalled breadth of range is the Panamera 4S Executive and Panamera Turbo Executive with an extended wheelbase. They take the sporty saloon into the luxurious Executive segment. The Panamera S E-Hybrid, the third new model marks a new technological benchmark as the world’s first plug-in hybrid in the luxury class. A completely new three-litre V6 engine has also been introduced for Panamera S and Panamera 4S. It features biturbo charging. The completely new V6 three-litre biturbo engine will replace the previous 4.8-litre V8 engine in the Panamera S and Panamera 4S. The Panamera GTS will retain its V8 engine. The standard version offers a top speed of 259 km/h, 310hp and a fuel consumption of 8.4 l/100km. The redeveloped Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) with virtual intermediate gears further improves fuel economy and comfort. Privacy glass with its tinting and enhanced light reflecting properties is provided for the rear side windows. It ensures an undisturbed space at the rear. Windows are designed to insulate against noise and heat and the soft-close doors shut almost silently thanks to the standard assisted closing feature. The new engine gives the Panamera S and Panamera 4S 20hp more power and 20 Newton metres more torque and 18% improved fuel efficiency compared to the previous model.
