World renowned opera star Placido Domingo is currently in Qatar not just to enthral the Doha audience with his powerful voice and peerless talent once more but also to satisfy Dohaites’ palates with the best Mexican cuisine with the opening of Pampano restaurant, the first in the Middle East. Yesterday, Domingo along with business partner celebrity chef Richard Sandoval officially opened the acclaimed restaurant established in New York seven years ago. Sandoval and Domingo created Pampano inspired by Mexico’s coastal recipes, translating classic dishes but giving them a modern artistic flare. “It has been a wonderful experience to have created Pampano which has been hailed the number one restaurant for several years,” said Domingo, adding people here will surely love what Pampano has to offer.
