The Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality will open the Al Qarma Beach Garden soon, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has announced. The garden, which is meant for women and children aged under 10 years, has been developed by the municipality in co-ordination with the Public Parks Department and with support from the Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Programme. The garden is spread over 8,000sqm and features a variety of games and beach umbrellas. (Source)
