The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has signed an agreement with Ooredoo to help rescue teams instantly identify accident locations. The agreement was signed between the National Control Room at MoI and Ooredoo, an HMC official told a session of the Central Municipal Council, according to Al Sharq. A major challenge being faced by MoI’s rescue teams was locating the accident sites accurately, with many incidents taking place in relatively less known areas, the daily said. The Ministry had previously considered assigning Qataris in every ambulance to help drivers identify the locations. However, many Qataris did not agree to be a part of the project while others said the offered salary was not enough, said the daily. Source : Qatar Chronicle
