Ooredoo Volunteers distributed Iftar boxes yesterday on Qatar’s busy National Day Celebration Road, as the company continues to spend time with, and giveback, to the country’s communities during Ramadan.
The event, which took place from 5.30 PM saw Ooredoo Volunteers give Iftar boxes to people exercising on the road, which is a popular place for cyclists and runners.
Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo said: “Exercising during the Holy Month is important, but also very difficult, and so we wanted to celebrate the hard work of everyone staying fit and healthy on National Day Celebration Road and #ShareAMoment with them.”
This act of kindness is part of the company’s 2017 Ramadan CSR campaign ‘Hand-In-Hand’. Ooredoo still has a host of important community initiatives planned this Holy Month. Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Ramadan Hand-in-Hand campaign via its Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #ShareAMoment.
