The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced in a tweet on April 30, 2022 that Qatari citizens may travel within the GCC countries with only an ID card effective April 29, 2022. Furthermore, GCC citizens traveling to and from Qatar may also travel with the provisioning of an ID card only.

The travel requirements of other Gulf countries will have to be adhered to by Qatari citizens subject to the country of travel.
They further stated that this regulation is to facilitate the ease of movement for citizens within the GCC countries and is in line with the gradual lifting of COVID measures.
