The Sultanate of Oman will host from December 3 to 6 of the current year the activities of Qatar’s various industries via the 'Made in Qatar 2018' exhibition.
Organised by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and in cooperation with Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition is under the strategic patronage of Qatar Development Bank.
Dr. Salim bin Saleem Al Jenaibi, vice chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) for economic affairs and branches reaffirmed the support of OCCI for such events which further develop the ever-lasting Omani-Qatari ties.
He also pointed to the remarkable progress and development in the Omani-Qatari relations, which he said was clearly seen in the volume of trade between the two countries. "Omani imports from Qatar increased from OMR86 million in 2016 to OMR128 million in 2017 at a growth rate of 48% approximately. The Omani exports to Qatar rose from OMR 93 million in 2016 to OMR549 million in 2017," he added.
It is under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the State of Qatar.
