Qatari daily Al-Watan warned that the Palestinian cause is passing through a critical and crucial turning point that requires unified positions and efforts by the Arab and Islamic countries, in order to support the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights, endorsed by binding international recommendations and resolutions issued by international legal institutions.
Al-Watan noted that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to abhor international legitimacy decisions and undermine the regional and international efforts that aimed to ease the tension in the region and restore the legitimate rights to the Palestinian people.
The paper condemned the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people including the increasing provocations related to the Judaization of Jerusalem and the daily incursions of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In conclusion, Al-Watan called for a doubled attention to the Palestinian issue, especially in this crucial stage, in order to ensure the realization of the aspirations of the Palestinian people and the restoration of their legitimate rights.
