[UPDATED] New Qatar currency notes now accepted for deposit in QIB, QNB, CBQ machines

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar National Bank (QNB) and Commercial Bank Qatar announced that it is now possible to deposit all new denominations of Qatari Riyals in the banks' deposit machines.

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB)

Up to 30 notes per transaction can be deposited and the daily cash deposit limit is QAR 50,000, according to QIB on its Twitter account. You can find the QIB Deposit Machines that accept New Currency Notes in the following locations:

  • Mall of Qatar

Qatar National Bank (QNB)

QNB’s ATMs now accept the new and old Qatari Riyal notes for cash deposit.

Commercial Bank Qatar (CBQ)

The ILQ team reached out to CBQ and they confirmed that all the new notes are accepted except for the 500 note.
