Qatar's National Employment Platform (Kawader) to be launched; up to 4,800 jobs to be listed

During his inaugural speech at the press conference, H.E. Yousuf Mohamed Al Othman Fakhroo, the Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affiars, announced the National Employment Platform (Kawader), to be the flexible and easy way that enables a job seeker to reach job opportunities and link job nominations with the authorities directly.

H.E. added that, starting next Monday, 24 August 2020, the platform will be available for job seekers to enter, register and create CVs. Starting next September, the job seeker will be able to view jobs and choose the suitable job for his qualifications and experience.

During the first stage, registration on the platform will be for male and female citizens who do not have jobs in order to see and nominate for jobs in the government and private sectors, as well as for children of Qatari women to see and nominate for jobs in the private sector.

H.E. affirmed that the launch of the National Employment Platform (Kawader) comes as part of the efforts taken to enhance the Ministry's role in registering and following up on employment for job seekers, in the public and private sectors, as the number of appointments for the year 2019 reached a number of 3,570 job seekers.

H.E. called on all job seekers of various qualifications and experiences to take advantage of the services provided by the National Employment Platform (Kawader), and sincerely thanked the working team involved in developing the platform for their great efforts that led to its achievement in this distinguished way.

Mr. Abdullah Musallam Al-Dossary, Assistant Undersecretary for Development Affairs at the Ministry during the press conference added: "There will be a listing of up to 4,800 jobs through the National Employment Platform (cadres) in the government and private sectors, during the month of September." And that coordination between the government and private sector iscontinuously and permanently to offer more jobs through replacement and creation through the platform.
