Najah Qatari, translated as ‘Qatari success’, is an annual event in Doha where Qatari citizens and residents pick from 10 different categories to choose their favourite social media influencer, poet, inventor, TV presenter, social media platform, local television channel programme, newspaper, ministry/government service organisation, youth initiative and entrepreneur project.
The first Najah Qatari event was introduced in Qatar in 2017 by Founder Faisal Bin Khalid Al-Otaibi and Deputy Chairman Sheikh Mohammed Bin Nawaf Al-Thani with the aim of highlighting the success stories of prominent and influential Qataris who have excelled in their field, and since then has gained the interest of ministries, organisations, business people, public figures, the Thani family and others. It's sponsored by government institutions and also provides an opportunity for officials and the public to meet through seminars that are attended by Ministers, Directors-General and different State Department Heads.
Each participant at Najah Qatari gives a glimpse of their biography, the most important stages they went through, the scientific and academic formations, the training courses they received during their careers and how this has reflected on the success of the institutions to which they belong. (QNA)
This year will be the fourth Najah Qatari event and will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre's Al Mayassa Theatre from 26 - 28 August 2021 from 3 pm to 10 pm. 10 winners will be announced at the closing ceremony on the 28th after public voting which will end on the same day.
All visitors must have a green status on their Ehteraz app, wear a mask, maintain social distancing to ensure the safety of all and adhere to MOPH Qatar's COVID-19 precautionary measures.
