‘Mulhemen’ platform launched by NAMA

Qatar’ Social Development Center, NAMA, has launched the ‘Mulhemen’ platform for small and micro entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to secure deal with potential investors.

The launching ceremony of Mulhemen included a distinguished group of speakers: Khalifa Saleh Al Haroon, CEO and Founder of the ‘I Love Qatar’ website, Bilal Sheikh Assistant, General Manager (Qatar & Oman) at Careem, Abdullah Al Khinji and Hares Aghandi, Founders of Meddy.

The ‘Mulhemen’ platform will gather promising entrepreneurs with successful entrepreneurs in the presence of elite investors under one roof. The initiative’s main aim is to present the successful project owners to motivate anyone looking to become a young entrepreneur.

This unique opportunity will build strong relationships that serve their projects and ideas, create potential partners through networking and business dinner and a unique opportunity that will allow the platform to present youth projects to a group of investors interested in investing in small and micro enterprises.

In his comment, Saoud Essa S A Al-Mohannadi, Entrepreneurship Manager at NAMA, said the ‘Mulhemen’ platform will include a unique set of programmes that will contribute to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Qatar and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among Qatari entrepreneurs.”

“The platform will contribute to the transfer of successful entrepreneurial experiences both locally and globally to entrepreneurs including ideas owners or startups. A group of successful entrepreneurs will be invited to an interactive session that will be organised each month, which will showcase success stories of inspiring models to take advantage of and catalyse participants in the platform.”

Al-Mohannadi stated that the platform’s programmes focus on very important aspects in order to provide a full opportunity to pave the way for young entrepreneurs. The project presentation aspect is one of the most important ones of the success of any project. The participants will be able to present their business ideas to get the required investment, as well as networking and business dinners, which is very important for young entrepreneurs to build productive working relationships.
