The government seems all set to help end car parking woes in Doha and other places in the country and, it is believed, is ready to launch a number of car parking projects. Areas have already been earmarked in the towers area of the West Bay to construct multi-storey parking lots with basement parking facilities. Likewise, huge parking spaces are to be built in Al Rayyan, Umm Salal, Al Wakra and Al Dayeen, among other towns. Some of these may be pay-and-park facilities.
