In a tweet, Ashghal announced the temporary traffic closure of two locations at Corniche Street for one month, starting 16 April. This is to enable works to upgrade Corniche Street in coordination with the traffic department.

The temporary road closure is located at the U-turn located at Al Dafna before Markhiya St. Road, users can continue straight to the Al Diwan Al Amiri intersection and make a U-turn to reach their destinations. For the road closure at the left turn at Al Rumelia St. Road, users can continue straight to Mohammed Bin Thani St. to make the next turn.

Update

Ashghal Qatar has tweeted that the intersection known as Al Meena Intersection will also undergo temporary traffic closure starting Thursday, 14 April for also one month. This is to enable works to upgrade Corniche Street in coordination with the traffic department.

The left turn from Corniche Street to Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya Street will be closed in addition the left turn from Corniche Street to Doha Port will be closed. Road users should continue straight to Sharg Intersection and make a U-Turn to reach Doha Port.
