The Ministry of the Interior observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse, in the presence of His Excellency (H.E.) Salah Bin Ghanim Al Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports and H.E. General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director of Public Security at a function held in Mall of Qatar.
The programme was organised by the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement with participation of a number of departments of the Ministry and other relevant government bodies on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse. The highlight of the programme is an awareness exhibition, with the participation of a number of departments and relevant authorities, to shed light on the dangers and perils of drugs and ways to immunise the community from this menace.
The exhibition will continue until Saturday 6 July 2019 at the Mall of Qatar, where it will provide many awareness programs to the public, and introduce the efforts of the concerned departments and authorities to ensure protection of society from the scourge of drugs.
