The General Directorate of Borders Passports and Expatriates Affairs under the Ministry of Interior launched a new service titled "Aamir" to serve specially the old people and special needs. The new service has been applied in the framework of Ministry of Interior's efforts to improve and update the services rendered for citizens and expatriates with the best and easiest methods. The "Aamir" service staff available at service centers under the Unified Service Department of General Directorate of Borders Passports and Expatriates Affairs will receive both male and female customers from old people and special needs and will complete their transactions with special care. This initiative has been implemented in the country as a honor from the Ministry for these segments of the society and to not leave them alone when they process their applications in the service centers. The staff will take care of these people and will finish their all transactions with out facing any difficulty by this two categories of the society. The "Aamir" service has been applied at Musaimeer Service Centre under the Unified Services Department and many people have been benefitting from this service while the public has highly hailed the service as the old people and special needs deserve high care and special consideration. The Unified Service Department has implemented "Aamir" service at its service centers in Musaimeer, Al Khore, Wakrah, Shahhaniyya, Shimal and Hamad Medical Corporation and Visa and residence permit halls at Expatriates Affairs Department through appointing special staff for greeting the old people and special needs, receiving their transactions and completing it within a short period of time as much as possible. It is worth to quote here that the Traffic department has also opened a special office at the headquarters of the department for completing the transactions of the old people and special needs by receiving them in the specially arranged office and completing their transactions quickly and easily.
