The Ministry of Interior (MOI) in a Tweet has announced that the competent authorities referred an events and wedding management company to the Public Prosecution, for organizing an event by setting up a wedding tent.

This was in violation of the Cabinet’s decision regarding the restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which states that weddings will continue to be allowed only in halls of hotels and independent wedding halls.
The competent authorities appeal to the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive decisions in force in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in society.
