The Ministry of Municipality announced in a tweet on 13 September 2022 that a food outlet named 'Modern Flowers Bakery' has been shut down for 7 days by the Al Rayyan Municipality.

أصدرت بلدية الريان قرارا إداريا بإغلاق "مخبز الزهور الحديث" لمدة 7 أيام، وذلك لمخالفته قانون رقم 8 لسنة 1990 بشأن تنظيم مراقبة الأغذية الآدمية.

The closure was due to the bakery violating Law No. 8 of 1990 which concerns the regulation of human food control.
