The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has announced that seizure of illegal fishing nets after an inspection campaign at Al Khor port.

The nets found are considered one of the most dangerous types of fishing nets, as they catch all kinds of fish and all sizes, which eliminates the multiplication of fish and, thus promotes the threat of extinction.
