The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change announced in a tweet on 24 July 2022 that a number of unattended and abandoned cars have been removed from natural reserves around the country.

The removal was executed along with the Joint Committee for the Removal of Abandoned Vehicles, Departments of Mechanical Equipment and Hygiene at the Ministry of Municipality and Lekhwiya Force.

This removal was part of the many efforts that the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change exerts to clean and protect the natural reserves around the country from environmental damage.
