The Ministry of Labour announced in a tweet on 19 May 2022, the closure of four recruitment offices by the Ministry of Labour due to the non-compliance of contract terms with employers.

The recruitment offices were operating the recruitment of workers from abroad.

As per the ministry, the offices closed were the following; Al Taqaddam for the procurement of public hands, the Golden Arrow for the procurement of manpower, Green Land for the procurement of manpower, and City Jobs.
